Entente Cordiale
Our twinned clubs are, in France,Vallee D'or and in Sri Lanka, Beruwala .
Our friends from France visit us for a weekend in the Spring and we travel over to France in the Autumn.
It is significant that 2009 represents the 40th Anniversary of active twinning between our two clubs. This partnership is one of the longest between any two Lions Clubs and we will be celebrating with a truly major Anglo French event!

Fundraising
Our annual monster bottle stall at Emsworth Show is always a big hit with everyone and raises considerable funds for local charities.
We faced the rain and managed the parking at the "Thought for Food" event at Standstead House in September 2008. We were dependant upon donations from those attending, and we would like to say thank you to all those who gave so generously.
In the weeks before Christmas during weekday evenings we will be touring Havant with Santa. This is an opportunity for children to confirm they have "been good" and let Santa know what they want on the big day.
Santa will also be at the ASDA supermarket at weekends. Bring along your children and have them say hello to him.
